Brie’s Story
Miss Brie came to New England with her cheesy siblings, Mozza, Cheddar, Gouda, and Swiss. Sadly, her initial placement wasn’t the right fit for her. It was a house full of boys, and being the lady she was, well that just wouldn’t do. The volunteers at Second Wind brought her to an emergency foster placement within their own ranks where she spent the weekend. Quickly Brie was up for adoption again and a new home was found. It looked like she was heading to South Boston to live amongst the millennials. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, that placement fell apart.
Erin, the volunteer who was fostering, had wanted a dog for herself and had a list of potential dog names on her phone... the name 'Brie’ was already on that list. By the next morning we had ourselves a foster fail. Sometimes dogs and their humans have a way of finding each other. As they say it was meant to ‘Brie’.
